Every Thorn product is made with organic Bulgarian rosewater, distilled from petals harvested by hand during a single month each year in the Rose Valley. Steam distillation draws out the oils and active compounds the rose is known for, used for centuries to soothe, restore and replenish the skin.

Thorn cleansers use a naturally occurring postbiotic ferment in place of synthetic preservatives. Produced through fermentation, it offers broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection by gently lowering the pH of its environment, restricting the growth of unwanted microorganisms without disrupting the skin. Because it's extracted in water alone, it conditions as it preserves.
It's the reason Thorn is formulated without parabens, formaldehyde donors, phenoxyethanol or salicylic acid.
Sourced from springs free of industrial contaminants and filtered to remove impurities. Its molecules form a hexagonal cluster, an arrangement observed near hydrophilic surfaces, which supports absorption and compatibility with the skin.
